If there was ever a pant designed to handle any circumstance, it's First Lite's Corrugate Foundry. The hybrid pant takes design cues and features from our best-performing pants and creates a highly functional style, ready for any pursuit. Low-profile removable knee pads provide imperative protection when dropping to a knee or crawling over rock, brush, and deadfall. The seat and knees have been generously built with a 2 layer waterproof membrane to increase comfort and remain dry in wet conditions. Additionally, the integrated side leg zippers offer easy ventilation and access to zip-off base layers. The nylon construction provides ease of movement and an additional DWR treatment for added moisture resistance. On top of it all, the pants feature and include a new suspender system with reduced hardware and friction points for hunters who pack out heavy.

Ordered these last minute before a trip and was really impressed with both the pant, and the service from points south. The pants arrived in chch less than 24hrs after I ordered. I found the pants comfortable, warm and windproof. Would recommend.

Outstanding workhorse pant

Tough, durable and very comfortable pant. Zip heat dumps are simple and easily able to be adjusted while on the move. Waterproof knees are brilliant, often got one knee on the ground using a spotting scope or adjusting pack etc. Waterproof backside is a bonus too. These are the ultimate allround pant, especially so for NZ conditions

Noisy

Well waited for a while to get these bad boys on and they fit very well and true to sizing so all good there. Made very well and can’t fault the zips. Down side for me is that they are very noisy when walking in them which when deer hunting is going to be an issue, not sure if the deer in the US are hard of hearing but Sambar here in Victoria may hear me before I see them. For the money which is allot they are disappointing due to the huge noise factor and they are made in China. if id been in store buying these I would have hung them back up and walked, sorry Steve but for a hunting pant there a bust for me😢

Noise although always a consideration, wasn't exactly front of mind in the design of these pants I imagine. Comfort, durability, breathability, walkability for example would have been. We have a couple of options that are designed to be super quiet and stealth which is the Obsidian Foundry but also the Corrugate Guide pant is also pretty close to silent. It's always a balance.
