A lightweight, quiet mid-layer designed to be utilized as both an outerwear piece as well as a layering option as temperatures drop. Designed for the mountain side to the maimai, the Origin Hoody's Shooter's Cut allows for full range of motion when drawing a bow or shouldering a rifle making it better fitting than its predecessor, the Klamath Hoody. The Origin Hoody is feature rich with discretely integrated facemask and cuff thumb loops that are easily tucked away when not in use. The piece also incorporates a large chest and kangaroo pocket with premium, rubber-dipped zip closures for secure storage.Β 

Powered by 37.5 fleece lining and HeiQ scent control, the Origin is temperature regulating, lightweight, and odor resistant making it a layer versatile enough that you'll find yourself packing it year round.

Really like these, cut is super comfy, my go to hoody for work, hunting or casual. A t-shirt and an origin hoody will see you right most times.

Super versatile mid layer!

Very well made and has a great, non-restrictive fit. Very warm for the weight and breathes well. The mask is quite nice and isn't really in the way when you're not using it.

Great product! I normally wear a medium in most tops (klamath, wick tops and Saw Tooth are all meds) but found a med in the Origin too tight to get any layers under so sized up to a large. Im 5' 11" (180cm) and weigh 83kg.
I needed to size up and Cam as always was a legend at sorting me out, first class service from start to finish.

Was pretty skeptical spending that much of my student loan but honestly worth every penny, First lite is so far ahead of the other clothing brands in NZ. This hoody I’ve bashed through thick matagouri for hours at a time on a fair few trips and not one stitch has frayed, truely good quality kit. It’s the perfect mid layer top, does everything it says in the description. Wicks the sweat away from ur body and it’s bloody warm I basically never take it off when I’m hunting. The point south crew are amazing to deal with as well. 10/10

First Lite Origin Hoody

This would have to be my favourite go too hunting top. It’s dose everything they say, especially drawing the moisture away, I never once felt uncomfortable from moisture. It took me a couple of days to realise why. I would wear a Wick short sleeve crew as a base then the Origin hoody.
Bonus is the face mask.
